Hello from NL - introducing my 75TB

After reading and reading for many years, I suddenly had a (rare) bright moment and realized I had no account yet...
Well, after some delay I would like to introduce myself and my car.
So, I’m Jeroen from The Netherlands, infected by my father with the ‘virus’ at a very young age and working in the automotive industry (engineer).
After owned some Alfetta GTV’s and 75’s I settled down and only have one ‘project’ car to play with.
It started it’s live as an ’91 2.0TS and was completely original when I bought it in 2009 (apart from 164 wheels).
Since I’m not favoring soft, sluggish rides (even a stock 75 doesn’t do it for me) and like going fast on closed environments, I decided to change the 75 slowly into a trackday car.
So far the, non-visual, modifications are;
- 1.8T engine (stock, with 1.2bar boost)
- RS suspension kit, 30mm anti roll bar, caster ball joints…., all the usual stuff.
- 305mm brakes / 4-pot brembo’s
- And lots of smaller modifications
I have been hammering it around the racetrack (mostly Zandvoort, NL) quite a lot this year, trying to improve my driving skills and laptimes.
It’s still holding together nicely (~240K km’s on the engine!)!
Coming winter, there should be some more upgrades ready; modified rear wheel alignment, outboard brakes and figuring out how to improve the front roll centre, further weight reductions etc.
Side project is to switch to a programmable ECU with FMIC, different turbo etc. etc.
Anyway, I’m sure there’s a lot more to say, but for now some pictures;
