Now that's the spirit :D
Any news on your prop design ? Must say as mentioned in other thread it seems as if these guys here in the UK have found the solution for the Alfa prop with three universals( GKN high performance type) and the torque resilient tube .
Is your solution still under the wraps at this stage ?

Congrats on your new job Mats. I am sure it will be challenging and rewarding at the same time.

Kevin that prop shaft set up sounds good. Is it possible for you to find out EXACTLY how they balance them?

My CVJs are from the GM Theta Epsilon propshaft, not sure exactly what the cars are called... ;)

Thank you! Quite a move, yes. :)
Hopefully it will be a bit more varied now. I'm guessing some more travel too.

I will probably take a break from the board for a while. Not sure for how long but I will probably be back.

This is my final pic from my garage:

They say it started in a company next door but it really doesn't matter.

Thanks for allt the joy old boy. You will be missed. :(

It happened what I think it happened? The car was inside that fire?

Everything except my 155 V6 was inside that fire including some stuff I stored there while moving house.

I'm back to square Zero. 10 years (give or take) of modifications down the drain. Quite a sack of money too.

Time to regroup and think of something else for a while. :(

Noooooo! That's every Alfa owners nightmare to see irreplaceable work going up in flames . I feel really sad for you as that was one brilliant project with so much effort . A few of my mates copied your ideas on their cars .
Maybe once you regrouped you might buy some ones race car that they piled huge cash into for a bargain .
The Alfa flag will fly half mast today :(
Ps don't leave the forum , we value your engineering input and dry humour - unlike Md's

OMG Mats I really feel for you. Hopefully you will get your rightful compensation.

Weird I was watching Wallander last night and the episode was Mordbrännaren (Arsonist")

But let's look at the positive side, at least you're ok, you have a good job and Sweden is indeed a very beautiful country.
