Does your welder use your plenum to learn how to weld? And what's with the 6C6C thing? Grind them off! If you do something make it look good!

Yeah, I don't think he is that good of a welder, but I can easily mill it off together with the 6C. It's not done yet. The bottom of the plenum is still not done. I still need to clean the cam covers, etc. But mechanically, it's almost there. Just need to find the correct alternator for it.

Here's my 156 3.0 with JK cams and equal length front pipe. Sounds like a real Alfa unlike the typical FWD V6 sound.

What exhaust you got one ie how many boxes . Is the last box straight through ?
Sounds great . Are the cams 3.2 grinds or 3.0 grinds ?

Kev & Alan,

The muffler is from Bollente, Japan. I don't think it's the typical absorption style straight thru muffler. I think it is a Helmholtz style muffler. Killaz has a similar style muffler for his 75 3.0 24V. The BEST part about this muffler is, there is NO DRONE at 3000 rpm. My mom has a full Super Sprint setup on her 156 GTA and it drones at 3000 rpm. The main contributor to the sound is the equal length front pipe.

Alan,

Try to use flat/oval pipes instead of round ones for better clearance when you create your new equal length pipes
