Yep! That's what they sound like - just better in real life!

Dawie's "Black Mamba" 147 GTA back in SA is even more incredible (exhaust was more open...)

Jes' 3.7 in real life sounds pretty recockulus too....

RHD - Where is this...?
...to Alfa, or not to Alfa? That is the question...

This is the first Autodelta UK Alfa 147 3.7, it was featured on Top Gear last year, I beleive the output is 328bhp, pretty nice i'd say, and did a pretty good job on the Top Gear test track setting a time, it has a limited slip diff and reworked suspension I believe.

SOrry, the 2nd video was a 4-cyl. But the first video, I have a local copy. It was on alfa156.net a while back.

My 3.8 sounds vicious. As JJ says, it's better in real life.

Plus here, we run everything de-cat - no emissions tests/MOTs, which gives the exhausts a nicer bass sound on low revs. Sounds like a 8 litre v8!

Howzit Hamish, your car sounds and goes extremely well. Im searching for bucks to take the 3.2 up to 3.7. The 3.7 really has a sound of its own.
