THANKS ALL!

Post by x-rad »

Well everybody, it is a sad day today

I just sold the Alfa with all the spares to whom else but another crazy Italian(a big Alfa fan I might add..so I feel a little better, but only a little).

I really enjoyed the last few years with all of you. Special thanks to Mats, GG, JJ, JK, Barry, shortlife, MD, 2zig, Brookstroutr, Kevin and all the rest of you!!!

It was really fun, I learned a lot, and taught a few things, but most of all, I made a few friends around the world.

This is really one of the best car forums with good active members who really know (most of the time) what the are talking about. I wish I could have kept the Alfa, but I do not have the time to work on it, and my wife was getting pretty upset about me keeping my two German cars and the Alfa in the garage while she was scraping snow off her truck this winter (hehehee).

A true and hearty thanks from me to all of you for making this a great time!!! But don't worry, I will be lurking about and maybe even post a few things or two. Maybe I will pick up another GTV6 in the future.....

Cheers, Frederico Geraldo Meoli (yeah, that is my real name...and no freekin pasta jokes or I maka da phone call)

I'm sure you will get tired of the over engineered German stuff soon.....we will welcome you back, but not without a bit of ribbing.

Have fun and we'll see ya later,

Hey Gino Pepperoni de Pasquali,

When you put all you got into an Alfa, you never forget her. I know how you feel.

Still remeber this, there is nothing wrong with German cars that a good Alfa can't fix, hahhaaa.

Now that you got all this spare time , make sure your mum doesn't catch you with your hands down your pants.. :D :D

ciao

Man, nothing personal but some of the guy's over on the 968 sites are not as much fun as here(not as much drama with the porsche's). I often have seen posts where it begins something like this...." So i dropped the Porsche off at my mechanic....."

Plus, what I consider the best site '968forums' is a real pita to use, a 'canned' site similar to alfabb. hard to find topics...not like this site!

I still kept a piece of my first Alfetta.....
And i'm still lurking around here....

OH YEAH, I FORGOT TO TELL YOU:
You are gonna love this....

So I took the new car out for a little spin around the block, after a little stop at the local watering hole...

on the way back, hit a tiny patch of ice and fishtailed right off the road a spanked a streetsign. DAMNNNN!!! have not even driven it two whole times yet.....

pics for your enjoyment...might it be an omen?????
