mats thats classic. Geez are my ears still ringing from wednesdays game.
Gues what the vuvuzela is coming to europe in a big way . Already one million exported to UK. Ban them now like in Germany while you got a chance.
Singing still rules at soccer matches.
On another note its so dam cold here at the moment , that i think a lor of tourists thought they were coming to hot Africa. It was - 2 deg yesterday. I sent my staff home early so they could at least prepare their fires early.

Well done Serbia! Quite an upset, but you're lucky it wasn't a draw after that handball!

Cant believe our team kept Italy to a one all draw.

 :D
This is a great effort from a team raked 78th vs a team ranked #5.

Go New Zealand, Go the All Whites!

The game clearly needs more and better referees. And would it kill you to add some instant replay? Oh, and how about the refs actually saying what the call is on who it was on.

GTV NZ , your goalie Paston saved your asses. Deserves an MBE.
Fed , I predict France will give us seven goals as they want to go home. But I know the South Americans will rig it for a draw so Mexico and uruguay will proceed.
I figured I need my doctor to go train with the World cup on field doctors as they fix any terminal looking injury in a matter of seconds.

Paston did an amazing job for our #2 goalie!

A lot of talk here about the ref and how he was just letting Italy fall over every time they were challenged. and that penalty shot/goal was a laugh.

Cant wait for the next game on friday morning. will be getting up at 2am to watch the game then go to work at 8.30am

There's talk here too about how major soccer nations seem to have more referee decisions go their way.

A lot of Aussies will get on the NZ bandwagon if we don't get through.

Funny too that the only sporting event North Korea has broadcast live in a long time was one in which they were beaten 7-0. The would have been better to show the match againt Brasil.

The French team did suck, they really screwed up that group. BUT they have another hero at Wimbledon - Nicolas Mahut(France) - John Isner(USA). Switching between channels from soccer to tennis. It is 51 - 51 in the fifth set and no player shows signs of giving up. This match is over 9hours.
Back to soccer , still all even Oz -Serb and Ger - Ghana
