For a moment i thought we had it . Those vuvuzelas(trumpets) are loud. You think a chain saw is loud , think again. You can hear them all night through out the streets and neighbourhoods as people go to work. I think foreign teams are seriously gonna struggle with communication. France is down a few chaps , so lets see what happens.

They were commenting on that on the tv during the game about the trumpets, quite annoying to say the least!! I also thought you guys had it too! it was quite a good game, it's going to be interesting playing against you guys!

Cheers! :P

Hey Maldi , the Eagles are playing. I put a 100 bucks on them for the tournament.
Uruguay (Forlan ) was unlucky. Notice how that new ball curves so much. Kinda like a golf ball with dimples allows you to put spin - trajectory change.
Maldi with 350million people you gotta have a reasonable team.

We have only about 16 million people and we did quite good in the past.

I don't care about soccer, it's quite boring to watch actually... :wall:

Over here in Holland almost everybody is obsessed with it, the entire nation is covered in orange stuff.... :)
Drive it like you stole it...

Im not a huge fan either maybe because I have no team to support. Who would be passionate about supporting a team ranked 83rd in the world. Hey but rugby is a different story especially when youre the world champions and Super 14 champions.
Im going to one soccer game Italy vs New zealand. Thats because Alfa comes from Italy.
Fed, to much off ball niggling there. We play you next.

Yay, I have a couple of friends that are over there right now, just watching Argentina right now.
About numbers, we are only 3.6 million in total...so go figure... :D

Uruguay played well! 10 vs 11 and France couldn't do much your team basically played excellent defense.

I hope the limeys win! Go England!!!!

I can tolerate the occasional air horns, but some of the games had constant trumpet sounds blaring!

Oh no just seen Dempsey score for US. Simple stop by Green and he let it in.
Stadiums sound like whole lot of real angy bees with those vuvuzelas(trumpets) South African didgeridoo of the Ozzies national trumpet.
This vuvuzelas were used by the Zulus when returning from battle against the British in the eighteenth century.

You realize, of course, that the US roster consists of ALL the adult males in the US that play soccer (err, football).
