I just recieved an email where Ron is starting to sell some V6 75s, all kitted with RSR-kits and such. Sounds to me like he is selling the track cars..?

Sounds like Sabine has stopped her Ring-taxi as well. Terrible, terrible times.

Actually drove past Ron's shop last night.

Spend a long weekend in Luxembourg, so was in the neighborhood and couldn't resist to make a small detour / taste a schnitzel.

A lot of stuff going on up there and not really many people know / spread around the real inside info

- no bmw ring taxi anymore.
- cancellation of the Scuderia Hanseat school.
- closure of Mike Frison's forum (a very critical/against N'ring gmbh forum etc.......)

It can only be a matter of time before Ron switches to another car or does something else. It's hard enough to keep a 75 operating in normal conditions. Have you tried to buy a throwout bearing lately?

I got that email too. Closing whole operations or just the Alfa part?

BTW, since they the investors or whomever screwed up with the Ring Fun land, why do they want to tear everything down? Turn it into a what?

That's sad news, I just booked a trackday with Ron but for SPA, on the first days of may...sound's like the Alfa's won't be around much, he has moved to newer cars though, some premium porsches and lotuses

Has nothing to do with the cars, private owners of the ring are also owning some hotels, resturants and also Zakspeed and are now banning all competition...

I actually read somewhere that a private nurburgring related forum was mailed to get an financial agreement for the use of a n'ring logo

They are looking everywhere to get out of the red numbers.

btw looks like the ring taxi is going to be done by the gmbh self with an M3 but without Sabine...

I read it a bit more official, so yes they will be on the Nordschleife during thouristenfahrten again
