I am suffering in silence here.
Can somebody background this car. Looks interesting judging by the environment that it is photographed in but they are not talking pictures...

Re: Something special in the shop..
Sampie Bosman popped into the shop yesterday, was taken aback by the car. He worked on it as a youngster and built the original 1300 engine.
We found a second chassis number location at the rear close to the rear glass . He was also surprised at this as he could not recall seeing these on any of the Gta`s.
They were probably all covered in paint as all of them actually had the chassis number in this location as well.
The rear arches on this car were sourced from Alfaholics as well. So were a few other items such as the number plate light bracket and a cowl panel.
She is now fully painted and ready for assembly. The windows are seriously brittle and time is needed to assemble this little car properly. Would really not like to have to explain that we cracked or broke an original poly carb window or such.

Kev, you remember my old A5 car ? The N Technology 147 Gta ?
Got her in today for a complete refurb.
New everything, all panels supplied.
Brought a tear to my eye....because it reminded me how much money Alfa Romeo still owes me ..
