Pretty much the ultimate in fun days to walk around and look at a serious bunch of GTV's in all forms of modification , restoration and colour creations . This is what happens once a year at Alex Jupes open day I understand as its the first time I have been to this . It was Interesting to meet fellow GTV owners who also have a passion in these cars and was also very surprised at the number of 3.5 litre 12v conversion GTV that turned up .
Here are some pics of the day and some in the workshop . I did note that some of his friends/ clients turn up early so they can " polish" the underside of their cars on the hoist when an opportunity presents . Yeah , I got a pick of you graham polishing when you weren't looking :D

I was supposed to help with the barbi as its our natural South African instinct but declined as I prefer to catch the animal first :D
Anyway some more pics to follow . Note their are also some Fiat Dino's and an Iso here as its also part of the projects that happen here .

This has to be one of the cleanest GTVs I have seen . Pic of Graham giving it a polish and wipe down incase their might be some hidden dirt from the trip to the workshop . This is one of the cars that was featured in last months AutoItalia.

Nice pics! I've got to go to one of these gatherings.

All these talk about a 3.5 is nice, but there is something inside of me itching to try a 2.1-2.2L GTV4. I think Alfaholics has the right setup, but you will need to sell of your house to get one. The handling is probably going to be awesome. Rev it all the way to 7.5K and the induction noise!!!! Plus, it would be cheaper to use in the UK :)

75evo you need to rev it to 8000rom in that gtv4 .
Here some more pics of the GTV with wide arches . It has a 3.2 motor , straight cut box, prop with universals and most of the car is fibreglass .

Would you mind asking Kevin? The 3.2 looks like is the one with thermostat at the back (right side in the FWD). Am I right?

If yes what sort of modifications are necessary? How did you fit the engine inside the RWD?
