Nice mix of cars:

75 3.0 12V (Snowdon)
75 3.2 24V (Kev, I think it's your mate's car)
156 3.7
156 2.0T (Lampredi 16VT)

I must post pics from the day . The silver 156 pushes 450hp from the 155q4 motor through a Baci box . The blue Gta is a 3.8 L 24v .
George in black 75 drove brilliantly as that was his 5th race only in a car ... However is has raced karts at a very high level . Snowden is a legend as he was about 30 hp atleast down on the black 75 .
In qualifying a twin spark GTV got airborne and cleared the tyre wall but got caught in the catch fences directly in front of us . Pretty scary stuff . Driver was ok .

Some more pics of a really beautiful stratos that Richard Melvin brought along . Was hoping he might be racing his Napolina GTV :D
The metallic green sud was pretty quick as I held off a 355 Ferrari challenge prepared car for a few laps . Sud was 1800 , steel crank and rods with 48mm carbs .

Some more pics of George's 75 . Amazing to see a rear wheel drive transaxle nearly lap the 147gTA 3.2 also on full slicks . The 75s carry far more corner speed .

Some pics of the GTV that came flying towards us . It totally cleared the tyre wall and was caught in the high fences . These fences absorb so much energy that totally saved the driver . He clipped a 147 entering Paddock hill which got the back out and actually gave it enough sideways momentum to start it tumbling .

You can find stop motion vids on youtube of this guys head sticking out of the window when the car was flipping. Scary! Having a window net/mesh has some merit!

BTW Kev, what kind of ECU is George running? Emerald? Seems like a popular choice for Alfa V6 owners in the UK. What about engine mods?

Chris Snowdon drives the pi&& our of that 75. Apparently it's a road registered (license plate) car belonging to his daughter.

George's 3.2 is running Omex . The motor has not even had its heads off since it was pulled from a low mileage scrapper thus it's absolutely standard . But it has light flight wheel , long 42mm primaries ( same length jk ) , tapered plenum . Makes 270hp which is about right for standard engine with those extra external mods . The clutch is a twin plate GTV 6 clutch as they handle more power than single plate and ..... It's lighter when using two four paddle organic unsprung plates . As these plates are thicker by 1 mm over the standard Sachs plates the intermediate pressure plate was skimmed 1mm each side in a lathe . This is what we did in SA many years ago so hence encouraged George to go this route . If you wanted a made up harness and map I'm sure George would make you one .... At a price :D
Prop is standard with cage up front but front suspension is totally custom . Done extremely well Mr George but he is still moaning about huge under steer so more work to be done . Fix that up and some nice cans , up the compression and you are atleast a few lengths ahead of the Ferrari challenges which were only a second faster . Scary thought how good the 75s are . I will post some pics of it .
Snowdens 75 runs Richards close ratio box which matches his power perfectly .
