Hello,
I am in the process of mantaining my "new" '84 GTV6. I noticed that I am getting some belt squeel but it is not from the A/C belt or the Alternator belt. Rather it seems that it is coming from the Belt immediately behind the A/C belt and I can see it visually "flapping".
Is this the water pump belt?

On the GTV6 the same belt drives the alternator and the water pump. Be careful tightening it, since the water pump sometimes responds to the added lateral force by failing.
