oil pressure oil cooler

Post by tonkatoy189 »

i was reading the thread on oil pressure because i have the same question about hot idle. my gtv6 is at 0 lbs. it drives me crazy! at 3000 rpm im usually around 55 to 75 lbs depending on outside and engine temp.

my question is has anyone tried putting an oil cooler in line? results?

Do a search on the topic,it has been covered a million times already..If you dont have a knocking sound from your engine, your oil pressure is good.Confirm this with a mechanocal gauge test.Oil sender units are known for thier un reliability...
An oil cooler is not going to improve pressure ..but it might be beneficial with a thermostat controlled sandwich bypass adaptor for daily driving...If you live in the antartic dont bother with a cooler..9cold climate... )
