removing engine from GTV6
I'm very close to pulling the 2.5 from my 82 gtv6 for a rebuild, is it best to unbolt the engine from the bellhousing or the driveshaft, I'm guessing the front guibo, I'm just learning, Thanks in advance!
Welcome to the forum, Kerry.
You should remove (or just withdraw) the driveshaft rearwards, leaving the front guibo attached to the flywheel. There is a 17mm lock bolt which you can remove or loosen. This will allow you to withdraw the driveshaft out the back. The engine can then be removed out the top of the car without touching the bellhousing.

There are a few other steps, but this should get you started.
Cheers,
