I did see them driving in Zandvoort 1980-1983.
They sounded very nice. Deep and not soooooo loud.

The Ford V8 sounded also very nice.
The Ferrari V12 was a loud but nice screemer.

The Alfa 12 cilinder sounded terrible, very very loud. I my opinion twice as loud then the Ferrari and screeming like crazy.

Then I was 15 and in that period my father owned a Renault 20 TS and a Renault 30 TX, with injection and the strange Michelin TRX tyres (also on the Ferrari Mondial). So we went for the Renaults.

But the Alfa's driving midfield I never forget. What a noise....
