Its been too long to remember the times I got at each of those tracks - I remeber that 1:40 is pretty awesome! Maybe I got 1:43 once.

My best timed lap at Pacific Raceways: 1:49.721

Cheers :D

Summit Point (Main Course): 1:55.83

(Hey it's a tired, stock '84 with 195/60R15 Pirelli P6000s on it! I have Greg Gordon's hose kit but I guess that didn't help  perhaps I should have purchased red instead of black hoses! )

But seriously, anybody have a benchmark for a transaxle Alfa around Summit Point? I'd liked to see what is achievable with our cars (stock and modified).

I have seen a noted local Alfa club member in his 2 liter GT Jr. do low 1:40s but I am not sure what his best time is.

I did a 1.55.6 last year at Pacific Raceway during the time trials for the national convention.
I've got ok power but am using old hard BFG Comp T/A's and the brake ballence is all F***ed up with these early cars. I'll have an adjustable valve installed soon and am looking for improvement. Not sure if I'll change tires this year or not.

Last weekend with the Mid-Atlantic Alfa Romeo Club:

Virginia International Raceway South Course: 1:48

(Probably the slowest time of any Alfa there  )
