Hey guys:
Any opinions or reviews of either?
I have used Falken Azenis RT-615 205/40R-16 on my car till now (clearly too skinny for the wheels, but still worked great), but Falken have just released the 215/45R-16 size and I'm deciding between this and the Hankook Ventus R-S2 Z212 215/45ZR-16. They have similarly stellar reviews on Discount Tire website ... the Hanook is $98 and the Falken is $109 so both are pretty reasonable.
Cheers,

Pure street tire...sounds correct for the price/lifetime
after that i used a set of yokohama A032R (H coumpound).
and now i running the hankook Z211 (in c30 close to the A032R) they are 60% the price of yokos here.
the last both is race tires, with grooves and 5000km 3Kmiles of lifetime

Mike,
How did you like the Falkens? Were they noisy? I have the yoko A-048Rs....it re-defines NOISY. Any that is kind of expected kinda like the A-032R you had on your ex yellow bird GTV6. How does the RT615 compare to the A-032R?
If noisy I'm thinking of just sticking with my Kumho 712 for the street. I once drove on Kumho SPT from San Jose to WSIR and the SPTs were just superb on I-5. QUIET!

Michael, it really depends on the application. For combined road / track use, the Falkens are good. For a serious track car, they don't offer anywhere near the grip of things like the Toyo R888, Dunlop D02G, Yokohama A048R, Bridgestone RE55S, etc.
The Falkens have a treadwear rating somewhere over 125 (standard road tyres run usually around 280), the others I have mentioned are between 40 and 80 treadwear, so really sticky stuff but won't last as long obviously.
