For the runners I got some 116 24V runners from Beninca as well. 42mm ID. Use std plenum but you need to really port the stubs on the plenum to get 42mm.

48mm runners Aren't you guys going a 'little' overboard? Are you going for 5liters or 10krpm?...But I forget, that's where the huge 12v runners originated...

Probably overboared. Just seen a good case of individual throttles which were to large gave less power than the ones from AHM. This chap went and imported the biggest size thinking he would get more power. It was dropped by 2mm in diameter and his 12kw were there.(changed on dyno) This is on 3.7l.

I bought a spherical bearing centre dedion bush for the race car from RS racing. I have just removed my polyurethane one which I bought from performatek and after three years of track racing its still perfect with no movement(wear). Upon installation of the new RS bush I need to know from anyone who has done it what did they use for spaces to stop the RS bush from moving in the dedion. The origional alfa bush has two aluminium rings. Do I use one of these ? I know its a press fit but soething must hold it in position.

It's a press fit from the top. If it wants to move it will move down, and you can't fit the bush through there The two spacers you got with the SZ bearing will keep it firmly locked in the beam.

Dennis I pressed it in but there was still a 4mm gap so i put one of the origional(new) retaining rings in and put four spot welds around edges so bush cannot move in the dedion. I understand the two spaces keep it firmly in position in the cross member but that will not stop it moving in the dedion. Reason why I spot weld the ring on top as it was easier than hammering the edges in in. Sadly this was all done before I read the post but im sure all be ok.

Tried assembling the whole rear including adjusting brakes before putting the dedion back. Its much quicker but you need another hand to balance the gearbox on the jack pad to raise it in to the underside of car.
