Hi All - Great News:
MVP Track Time was able to secure a 2nd date on Autobahn Country Club's (near Chicago) full 3.56 mile road course August 20, 2007. Like our June 4th event, it will fill fast.
We still have spots available at our July 23rd track day at Putnam Park near Indianapolis as well.
Feel free to drop by http://www.MVPTrackTime.com for details and/or registration.
Happy Motoring and we hope to see some GTV6 (and other Alfas) at the track!

Mark, great that you offer this service to the Alfa guys..How about becoming more active in general on this board as well as advertising your your events?
Im sure you have stories to tell from experiences at your track days..and pics! Although as the organizer I know that could be difficult.

French cars are shit and shit expensive to service and bloody awful and unreliable and expensive and friends don't let friends drive french cars and you wait years for parts.

Hi all. Our first of two Autobahn track days in 2007 were very wet. In fact the August event was worse then the June track day. Not a lot of fun driving in the rain, but definitely a learning experience. Only one big ouchy when a Lotus Elise introduced its rear end to the guardrail in turn six, but we did have to toss one driver for passing under the checkered flag (cool down lap) not once, but twice. I prefer dry, warm days!
Putnam Park brought us a perfect day in July and suprsingly not too hot.
It's arguably one of the best tracks in the Midwest to learn on and our instructors did another fantastic job.
We had planned on doing just the three events to open the doors for 2007 but an itch to get back to Hallett Raceway near Tulsa has presented itself, so we are off to Hallett October 29th. If you'd like to join us for the track day at Hallett. We have scheduled seven, 25-minute run sessions for each of the two run groups.
Registration and payment via credit card or Pay Pal are at:
http://www.MVPTrackTime.com/id47.html
Please follow the "Hallett" link to make your payment and once completed, fill in the blue outlined box to finalize your spot at Hallett. Upon completion of both parts, I will send a confirmation e-mail.
Now we just need a brace of GTV-6, any Alfa for that matter to join us at the track. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me at (314) 249-3770. Happy Motoring!
