I got my FuelSafe fuel level sender measured. Also got my Autometer temp senders for the engine oil temp and transaxle oil temp measured (Autometer 2258). This is not relevant to everyone (since they are non-Alfa), but if someone wants to see the data let me know and I'll post. Still didn't get time to rig something (along Mats' suggestion) for the oil pressure sender measurements - still debating if I should go with a higher end oil pressure sender (likely).

Picture of custom instrument cluster that will hold the DASH2 and its 4 control buttons (mounts as stock instrument cluster).

Installed the home-made instrument cluster with the DASH2, and built a box and analog circuitry to interface my senders with the DL1 data-logger and DASH2. The dash will display (and the data-logger log):
1. Speed
2. RPM
3. Coolant temp
4. Oil pressure
5. Oil temp (engine)
6. Transmission oil temp
7. Fuel level
8. Fuel pressure
9. Battery voltage
10. All the the GPS and accelerometer data from inside the DL1.

I finally got time to set up the the display - quite simple and straightforward. It has 5 screens you can toggle between. RPM, speed, gear selector, and warnings remain the same, but you can configure 3 fields on each screen. I currently set up 3 of the screens - see pics. The sector, lap, and delta times will briefly replace the 3 parameters as you pass GPS markers (virtual track markers). Sorry, no speed, revs, oil pressure, or fuel pressure showing since exhaust and driveshaft are currently off the car. Only negative is that the fields for parameter names are only 5 characters. Would be nice with more characters, or if you could choose from icons. Anyway, I like its functionality.

The coolant temp is a bit off compared to engine and transmission oil temps since I did not yet replace the Milano sender with the actual (164) sender that I characterized - probably Alfa sender variations (not sure the gauge and warning light sender is Bosch).

BTW, for fuel and oil pressure I ended up going with the high quality senders from race technology to avoid the flaky Alfa oil pressure sender. Other than that I used all my existing senders.

If anyone is interested I can post the DASH2 equations for the various senders. Note I used typical US units, e.g. psi, gallons, Fahrenheit.

Fuel Level (in gallons) - "L" for level. "Ful L" because there also is a "Ful P" (fuel pressure).

Some pics of the dash with everything showing. First I added a voltage regulator for my own reference 12v power source for existing sensors. I run some sensors on 12v in order to better utilize the range of the AD converters on the DL1 inputs, the other sensors run off the 5v reference power source available from the DL1 (though limited to 50 mA).

The first screen shows:
- water temp (145 F)
- oil pressure (86 psi)
- fuel level (5.3 gallon)

The second screen shows:
- engine oil temp (115 F)
- transmission oil temp (85 F)
- fuel level (5.2 gallon)

The third screen shows:
- fuel pressure (41 psi)
- voltage (14v)
- fuel level (5.2 gallon)

All screens show:
- RPM
- speed
- gear
- warnings (at bottom)
- shift lights (LED above LCD)

The flash of the camera makes it a little difficult to see some areas of the display. I have also hooked up alternator warning light (one of the LEDs below LCD). Verified RPM with timing light (with digital RPM readout) - spot on. The speed shows strange in the pics (low speed, although it is on jack-stands) because of the car being in the garage without GPS lock.
