Looks like a bmw subframe from e39 5 series perhaps?

By far my favourit 155. Tt v6 would be even better but this will sound awesome.

Yup, you are right, it's an E39. I thought it was an E46.

We are using a bmw e39 back suspension with vw shocks and custom shock towers
