Hi Kevin,
Devcon is great stuff and I have used it in many applications. However my choice here would be to weld it as per video. There is not better repair than that. I would not trust Devcon in the long run for this job. Last thing you need on the track is having coolant problems.
By all means post the link of the Cab.

Thanks MD .. I will go with your advice and get it welded . My mate with the black 75 showed me a link on FB and have no idea where it was when I recognised the Cab ! Such striking colours hard to miss !

MD , I decided to take the radiator a radiator specialist and they gave me two choices , either fresh new core ( which was crazy priced) or they use an epoxy which is applied when the effected area has been heated right up . There is no warranty on this option but it held 15psi no problem. I have got a new radiator in mind but will have to wait for next years budget :D
The budget has been eaten by doing a service and bling of parts which I had bought ages ago !

The injectors were last serviced ten years go so thought I would send them in for full service to Mr Injector UK . Apart from the three usual checks they replace filter, caps and O rings .
The fuel rails were sent to our electro platers as they were looking tatty .

Good thing I had injectors tested as no 5 was only injecting half the cc , no 4 had leak and number 2 spray pattern was not consistent . Got them all back and they look like new !
Also got the fuel rails back ... Looking very bling :)
The "workshop " petroleum for the injector O rings :D always needed .

I had quite a few cam cover bolts ( 7mm) with rounded edges which needed replacing . I found this link on another forum for complete set for the cam area ( top of engine ) . Very impressed with this kit .

Maxiboy .. I never knew that . It's an excellent kit and you can see that some one knew their stuff when putting it together . Well done ! :D
How's your project coming on ? Any news to update us with ? Are you gonna be at the festival Italia at Brands Hatch next week ?
I was doing the usual tinkering on my car while George was doing final touches in preparation on his 75 3.2 that he's racing next week . Snowdons also racing his so should be good fun .

I had a copy made from alloy that i ran for a while but going itbs on the new engine using 46mm bodies from a truimph 595 triple motorbike and a bmw Throttle body actuator S54 but will need a standalone but was going standalone anyway to future proof the car. either Autolusso link G4 or emerald. chatting to dave at emerald and getting good advice. manifold design with the laser cutters but is pretty simple.

Last Goodwood trackday car was to noisy with the side exit even with three boxes it failed . So realised side exit will always be to noisy so that's when I fitted the Ansa box ( rear silencer ) which I found a bit to stifling and it was not a free flow . As we know we can send the car in and get a super professional job or we can continue keep the costs down and the fun up and do it in the workshop . So bought a few bends from Jetex and used a rear box I brought back in my luggage from SA made by powerflow. It's ia straight through box with a curve inside. But for those Motorsport dsiplay days I have also just a straight through pipe which sounds magic !
MD don't worry about the Jerry can .. It has water in it :) ... I think :)

Hey Kev,
I noticed you have the RSR kit installed. I had one of the original versions and one of the rear springs broke last week on my 75 TS. However, I noticed the rear adjustable unit on the left hand side has almost buckled the original spring plate on the De Dion. I noticed yours has a flat plate that it rests on? Have they made some improvement on the kit since I bought mine? Anyway, I have reverted back to the original lowered King Springs for the time being. Interested to know what others have done with their RSR installed kits?
