They are Vari calipers made in South Africa and I see also Austalia .

Mine are from 2012 so the new stuff is really up there with the the top brands. It's been a caliper used in our V8 series for many years. I have just bought a new set for my out board set up with disc and bells all already measured up by the owner in SA :D

I got a really nice invite to join Auto Italia Magazine on their Motorsport day at Brooklands on Sunday . Weather was not great for standing around but much more fun for the track time we got. Must say I was really impressed with the Toyo semi slicks in the wet on the track and on the drive home. All I need now is to install my heater / ventilation fan so I can see where I am going !!
Think I will redo my dash with some “flocking “ when I do my heater unit . Richard M somehow agreed to help out on this . He did a great job on the CSR GTV .

Pics are all from AutoItalia Facebook page taken by Michael Ward .

Just had a fun Trackday at Goodwood yesterday . It was as I would say a rare occasion that all the mad Alfa tuners and restorers got their GTV's , 75s, Juniors, 156 GTA and even a new Giulia QV out at the same time. Just sitting on the pit wall hearing them all come past was sound to be hold. I came down to late to join the early sessions so only got my car through noise tests in time for the afternoon session.
My car ran perfectly however my main complaint was my gearing was way to short for this track. So I starting to think of best ways to sort this issue.
Possibles change wheel diam to 17 inch ... Gain 10mph at 5500rpm , change diff ratio to my spare one to 3.23 from 3.61 ... 9 mph at 5500rpm , six speed box and all the gain is a 0.8:1 sixth while all the other 5 ratio stay the same .. Winter project ! Here some pics from the day

A few posts above I mentioned I'm going to redo dash when fitting the heater unit. The process has started recutting ( laser) the dash panels for extra switches and flocking the dash. Big thanks to Richard Melvin for doing my dash.

Guage pannels back from cutting . Thought I would try the classic car wrinkle black spray paint. Realised you have to be really heavy with the coats to get it to wrinkle :)

Nice work Kevin.
If your need extra wrinkles check with JK- he's got heaps of 'em to spare.

Apart from that, Merry Christmas to all. :D :D

Yes it is Autocad. Should look a lot better. I heard the better it looks the faster it goes :)

I was thinking of getting my dash covered in an alcantara/suede style material. So instead of the wrinkle stuff, need fury stuff. MD, any suggestions?
