Adrian’s lightweight Giant Killer 2.0

As the heading suggests this car has always been a massive thorn in the sides of big V8s it’s had to do battle with over the years . I remember racing against its in our Trofeo series back 2007 but I needed 3.7 power to get away from it … probably mainly due to lack of driving skills but down the straights this car was very quick . The car has changed over the years and most radically over the last two years with a fantastic looking body kit made by Adrian . I think but stand to be corrected it only weights in at 820kg but I will re edit this if it’s much lighter .
Loads of features which most on FB would claim .. yeah I invented that but to be honest Autodelta covered most of this in the 70s and early 80s . As they are not arround and even if they were most people in SA could not afford these parts due to the frighteningly bad Rand currency conversion !
Nick Suiter and I were invited to see his cars and ofcourse beer and biltong ! Check out the pics of this beauty ! If anyone wants moulds etc from Adrian I am happy to pass on his details .

820Kg's???
That's INCREDIBLY light for a steel body car that isn't the size of a shoe.
Need some pics.

See the Alfaholics have made a carbon fibre body for the 105 GT Junior.

Kevin,
Congratulations for presenting this comprehensive post and please pass on my appreciation for the well thought through compilation of this Alfetta race car. I recognise many of the traits immediately :D

Very impressed with the weight. Best I can do without MASSIVE destruction and reconstruction is 1000kg.So well done. At the end of the day, power to weight is crucial.

I have a certain idea of what this modification is about but a clarification would be appreciated.

Thanks Kevin. I am surmising that is adjustment for toe/camber but I also thought it was extending the track.
