because of the detroit locker type diff, setting it up softly sprung but with a decent roll bar at the back unloads the inside rear to reduce the understeer. not a problem with a real LSD

Emphasis on Big, not on go-kart :P
Yeah, the TDs sound like fun... I'm continuing to plod away with assembling the thing, its going to be easier to sell as a completed car.

I'll give you guys a hint... i'm thinking along the lines of a non-alfa upright.

Finally made some progress on the rear alignment - here is a link with info and pics on how we did the camber and toe on the Dedion:

Appologies for the cross-link, but I saw no purpose in copy-and-pasting everything.

I'm sure some will disagree with the actual alignment settings, but thought I would share how we got it done in a controlled manner without too much fuss.

Unless the picture is fooling my eye, it looks like the GTV6 has negative camber at the rear. Do you know how much?

Yikes, that's huge. Isn't -1 degree for the rear typical?

Typical for what?

Street tires maybe. Slicks need more, probably up to about 5*, some Touring cars over here run what looks like 7* (extreme). R-type tires need around 2-3* give or take a (1) degree... Width of tire also come into play.

To be different, I'll guess 3-3.5* (neg). I put about -4* on my Dedion and it may be a bit too much for 205-Rcomp. I'm looking to add more rubber - perhaps 225.

Maldi, stock Dedion is 0 +-0.5 This is for track/race.

Answer is 5 on the front and 2 at the rear..and no, the lift is not due to any road irregularity, apparently that comes a bit later in the bend ( i am told)
