Z: Why would you want to go colder if you don't have to? 7 is working beautifully in a very wide range of engines, my 75 t loves them.

I actually have EV in my GTV, 7 though, but the engine is not really tuned...
The EVs are not really cheap though and EGV is even more expensive.

I found that the ground electrode in the NGK B9ES I used, wear much faster than the Champion N2C in the 3liter. (I do have a 210+mJ/spark CD). These are very cold plugs, but are perfectly clean all the time, they are my standard plugs from day 1 in the 11CR engine.
I recently heard that Iridium plugs are good for up to ~5hp in a 3liter, so I will fork out for a set in my preferred heat range and visit the rollers. Personally, I'm not too optimistic about such claims!
