xrad,

You should be able to source them from the US ZF suppliers. Keep this email advice sent to me from the Oz outlet in mind:

Hello Mike,

In regards to your below request, I have a lot of different applications for the ZF LSD fitted into Alfa's .
To confirm and quote the correct plates, on the outer face (LSD housing) where the crown wheel bolts to there should be a 10 digit stamped number . Starting with 4061 .

Once confirmed when I can only quote on what ZF originally supplied to Alfa, regarding the slip .

The complete transaxle does not belong to ZF only the LSD assembly .

Hope that this helps

Regards
ADRIAN

Hi MD, how long ago was that email you posted? I read somewhere on alfabb that there were only 40 or so friction discs in stock in the AU ZF stock several years ago...

NO luck from ZF au or Germany. But I did find a set of original alfa discs from a friend in Michigan!

alfa lsd discs are same as bmw e30 e36 small diff lsd`s .... i was able to find 2 discs for around 60 EU from bmw dealers
NOTE .. late e36 small lsd difs had same spline center but bigger outside diameter
but no problem to cut to alfa OD specs .... other interesting note is alfa SEI lsd diff have same discs as bmw large difs 2500 cc and + 8)
