Ah, ok, so would be best to just replace the dampers with new originals, rather than Konis then, presumably the replacement Sway bar will make a good improvement on its own.

Wheels and tyres wise. I still have the original factory alloys, shod with low profile Yokos. I have been looking for a set of 16 inch Ronal A1's for a while without any luck, they seem to be as rare as hens teeth! there seem to be few wheels that suit the GTV.

I'd recommend the harvey bailey handling kit from EB spares in the UK if you want to keep mods mild. (ebspares.co.uk)

30mm front a/roll bar - slightly stiffer rear springs - 4x bilstein dampers re-valved for softer bump than the 'sport'models.

you wont look back!

thanks guys, it all helps. The old girl is getting some money spent on her see, ive been ploding along for 8 years now, and its about time it was sharpend up, suspension is all getting a bit sloppy anyway with age.
