Barry,
Great photos!
That is consistant with some of the things that I have read about cryo treatment. It is said to increase fatigue life in many applications. A very encouraging testimonial.
I dont think that I am going to have enough power to need the extra margin of safety. That said, if there is a lifespan associated with every part, perhaps it will extend the life of my TA.
So,
My box is out and I am planning to treat the pinnion and the gears for sure. I am also going to treat my synchros and sleeves. (Dog teeth on the gears will benifit from any help methinks).
Should I do the ring? Should I do the diff? The diff case? I have heard of diff case failure, but is it common on modded cars?
What about the clutch case?
I know that from time to time most parts have been known to fail, but what parts seem to be the most prone to failure in these transaxles?

Hey Bazza,
Tell your mate with the split shaft to keep the cool on the cranium and make a change for Toyota Hi-lux units instead.

Barry,
What do you mean by spiders? Is it the part that the sleeve/dog gear slides upon?
Thanks
