I've also got these for the 3.2 but I haven't done anything yet, except check them for balance and they're very good. I'm afraid there will be clearance problems with the block... I'll worry about it when I get there though.

Right Jim.

Just trying to solicit advice here to see if I am making financial sense.
If I wanted to do:
Match balancing of the whole set
end-end balance for each rod
Round off the square blocks on the small end as you did for you 3.0 24v
Rebush small ends
Polish
Each rod will cost me about $100 and add to that $25 for bolts
6x$125=$750

I think stock rods make very little sense at this point, right?

For the 24v engine, I bought new gta rods which cost 580€ back then. Then, I did all the work myself to end up with 6 identical rods. With the cost of Max rods, you can't go wrong ...unless they don't fit, heheh! :twisted:
