My friend is planning to modify stock 3.0 V6 12v heads, could you post some comments about these (for now, virtual) changes?

Stock 3.0:                         Modified 3.0:
Stock Cams                        "S" Cams

Int: 43.8-44mm                     Int: 46mm
Ex: 38.5-38.7                      Ex: Stock

Stem: intake: 8.97-8.987           New in stem: 8 mm
Ex: 8.94-8.95                      New ex stem: 8 mm 

As you can see table, main questions are related to valves and seats;
1. I know that bigger-better is not always true, what do you think about increase of intake valve sizes?
2. Second is related to seats; Can stock seats be bored to support 46mm valve or we have to replace them with new ones?
