Melvivio,

I haven't read the entire post. Just watched the video. Nice car, well done.

I note from the power, you get a front end lift with every gear change up.
That suggests to me that you suspension is too soft and damping rates are not high enough. Would that be you opinion too or is that how you prefer it?

Hey MD, I didn't build the car, So i'm learing the specs slowly.

On the ride quality, I'm not sure yet how I like it. The car rides fairly softly indeed, But for general road soft is fine. However it will probably under steer all over the place, when I go visit a racetrack in the spring.

So yes, I would like to stiffen it a bit, and try to find a nice balance.

The car is fitted with koni yellow all-round, and is lowered. Not sure how tight there shocks are set, they should be adjustable?

Within the next months a front 22mm (20mm now) antirollbar will be fitted, in rubber centre mounts (didn't want to go all the way with polyurethane), but connected to the ......? with uniballs. (Those will make it alot more direct, so thats why I chose 22, instead of 24mm)

At the back, a 22mm antirollbar is installed, and as far as I can tell, everything is in rubber bushings. (not powerflex, or polyurethane)

Of course goal would be sublime on the road & track, but that's not achievable.
So I prefer a bit stiff on rough roads and "good" on the track.
(in Holland in general the roads are good, and the seats are soft so that will balance things out)

However it will see more road tarmac then racetrack. I do not want to spoil the cruising ability.

Great GTV6, one the greatest I´ve ever seen.
It sounds to good to be a 24v, most 24v sound to deep but this one sings!
Can you send a pic of the exaust from under the car?

Not that much to see. 2x 51mm tubing, front to back. I will install flex pieces in the near future. To pull the whole thing to the left a bit. And yes I know, I need to replace the input shaft bearing... oil spilling out of there a bit.

and here's why, it slams on the nipple:

The exhaust muffler itself is according to the builder, the muffler of a Maser Ghibli bi-turbo.

It does sound quite sharp and quite crisp. However I bought it was better. A "specialist" changed the timing belt, but did not use the camshaft locks to keep them in place. They locked the wheels.. It shouldn't make any difference according to them, but to me it feels and sounds slightly less energetic. Not sure if its possible, or it is in my head.

No problem! When checking forums, why not reply!
It is indeed weird, but probably has a simple reason. In the end the car was drivable. So the end bit is a bit rushed.

I believe he had enough tubing lying around to make this... So didn't bother buying new or bigger pipes..

I think you are probably better off with a Y type exhaust, you're probably loosing some hp's with your setup

Here we have the Lancia version of the AR 3.0 24V engine. In a FWD setup the engine sits very forward of the front wheels. So, in a mid-engine configuration the engine sits well forward of the rear wheels. Perfect!!!
