Zamani,

Gatwick is only 40 mins by train from central London and is closer than Stanstead. EasyJet (www.easyjet.co.uk) fly from Gatwick to Cologne/Bonn which is about an hour's drive from the 'Ring. There should be good deals if you book ahead.
