Fuel rails and injectors

Post by Alfettish »

Hi all,
I'm trying to install new injectors but I'm having trouble removing the fuel rails. When trying to undo the bolts they won't budge and it looks like I'll bend or snap the fuel rail.
Does anyone have any tricks to getting them off?
Tom.

Tom have you got a "universal joint" socket extension ? If not get one they're great for jobs like this.

Murray,
I do, but you can't use a socket for the fuel rail nuts because they are in line with the rail itself, the same as the adjuster nuts on the caster arm. I've tried a C spanner but can't slide it on there either.
Anyone have hints?
