When i had a big stereo - Optima Yellow Top

Now without stereo - Optima Red Top

I would recommend Optima or Kinetik racing batteries.

I seem to recall that Optima makes two red top variations with different cold cranking amps. I went for the more powerful version. Both sizes fit in the GTV-6 battery compartment but the more powerful version weighs more if that's a concern.

looks like they sell a few types of the red tops.
they list about 6 of them.
Do you have a part number for the ones you speak of?

Thanks

The numbers on my receipt are: OPT8002-002 34 800CCA RT 36. I think I recall the salesman calling it the 34.

I use the 34 or the 34/78 models.

redtops are okay but honestly, I would rather purchase a diehard. I've had numerous issues with the optimas in the past. Many people that I know have also had the same problem.
