what I mean was the 12v runners and fuel rails. Makes it a breeze to fit the o-ring injectors

Why do I need the 164 runners? Won't it fit with the standard 75 plenum and runners?
I still have the standard 75 plenum made fit for the compressed air and runners.
If I use the 164 Runners this mean I got to use the 164 plenum and also change the intake compressed air lines. :|

Eh, brain fart.
I meant the plate between the runners and head. It has the injector seats on the 164. Probably means you need to make new runners though, something like a piece of exhaust bend with the right diameter would do the trick.

You could cut the 164 runners 1/2 way and try to mate them with the GTV6 plenum which has the intake stubs from the 164 plenum. JimK is doing something similar to his 24V. It is possible that you can do the same with 12V runners.

i used a set of 164 injectors and rails on a 75 style inlet. just needed to make a few dents in the rail to clear the intake runners.

the rubbers and metal holding plates from the old style injectors can be swapped over to the newer style injectors. this clamps the injectors in place on the underside just like the originals. on the top of the injectors you would need to use a 164 rail.

I think I might have collected that.
Gor me it's important if you mean 164 12V or 164 24V.

It's on the roll again,
The engine has had some maintenance and internal cleaning.
All of teh oil lines are mounted.
The Motec programs are loaded, The wiring is complete now.

New wideband Lambda sondes will be delivered soon.
Also an extra gearbox, you never know what will happen.
The connection cable between the Motec M600 and computer is really expensive.

Next month the engine will be build inside the Milano.
Maybee over two months its on the rollerbank.

Starting to become chicken and will start from 300 hp.

Re: 3.0 V6 12V TwinTurbo for Sale

Post by Evert »

I'm quitting with the project.
The engine is in the car, the wiring is done.
There is a Mondeo V6 Turbo programme copied in the computer.

So almost finished, but I just lost my spirit.

Also for sale GTV6 3.1. See the cars for sale section.
