Wonder if reverse is still there
Re: 6-speed transaxle
There sure are 6 forwards there . Two cars had that at Glenwood , but no reverse . Pit crew was reverse . If you spin it with oncoming traffic you old be in trouble if reverse is only option .

Re: 6-speed transaxle
Kev,
You are right, he replied, no reverse as suspected.
I think I will go with an 0.95 5th gear. I think in the 75, that is the 4th gear, but it can be modified to make it the 5th.
So 3rd, 4th 5th will be something like 1.25 / 1.04 / .95. Why am I doing this? Well 6 speed box is out of the question. Custom gears from bacci or colotti...uh...no. $$$$$. Final drive ratio from the 75 1.6ie or Giulietta 1.3 of 4.3 or 4.5X is apparently not strong, so forget about that. And I don't need 140mph top speed on the track, 130 mph is plenty. I calculated that with 09.5 5th and 4.10 ring pinion ratio @ 7000 rpm will be around 130-133. Plenty for all the tracks I go to.
