MD is definitely good at something, but that something is still being researched by the best scientists out there.

OK all you villains, a little bit of respectability please.Time out on the insults.

Breaking hips has to be one hell of a painful experience and I am sure I speak for all the guys here Jim to wish her a full recovery and good pain management in the interim. I know how close European families are and such things impact on everybody's lives..

Best wishes mate.

Thanks MD. She lives upstairs from me and my trips there have greatly increased since yesterday, as well as keeping her company. They fixed her with metal inserts, nails etc. Should be able to walk on her own in a few weeks. Best thing is the operation took place at the Air Force hospital (Dad was a General) and there was no question about bribing anyone for anything... as (unfortunately) is the case in most places in Greece... We have actually moved a few places up in the World corruption list I hear!

Jim I'm sure your mom is lucky to have you around, I suspect that you're probably "the kind of guy" to have around at moments like that.Hopefully your mother is a tough old bird and kicks some ass to pull her nose up.
Good luck !

Hey Jim , no such thing as a floor in these circumstances but I have noticed something special about Alfistis is they tend to be far more caring to their family . Maybe it comes from the decades of patience of looking after the first to second gear change with one eye on the oil pressure in the morning

So MD is it toe in or toe out on your track taxi ?( no not your holy race crocs ) Was watching your video again and your input through the twisters is very minimal . Maybe because you don't have a v6 lump in front but I bet that supercharger is is more than 30kg ! Share the secrets :D

I took the track car for a trip through Surrey Hills which started with a short stint on the Motor way . I was doing about 75mph through bend when my tyre came off . So I figured I'm a bad enough driver not to notice it was flat and good enough to keep the car in the general forward direction cutting across lanes and get into a safe position .
I've had flat before on my road GTV and you notice immediately but with a proper roll cage and rock hard track set up its not as noticeable .
I'm still not sure what went wrong as there are no puncture holes , spikes etc and I checked pressures about 20mins before .
Bottom line is I did a good job

How old are these tires Kev? Maybe an age thing as well.

Glad you are ok. Maybe now is the time to install an aftermarket TPMS?

Hey Kev,
Glad you are ok. The same thing happened to the Continental tyres that I had on my 156 GTA. Admittedly , they were about 8 or 9 years old and still full of thread. The sidewalls went as well...... :(

Naaah, that's dangerous stuff! If I was going to ruin his day, I'd pour jello powder in his expansion tank when cold and watch him pull the engine out the next day, after having driven the car!
