So after doing some preliminary camber adjustments (~1.8 degrees negative per side up front) I think that Micke (it was you wasn't it?) was spot on about the front anti roll bar being effectively stiffer now. The car actually feels much better on tight turns and quicker in transistions, but on sweep...

Micke, I know it's an old post, but how did you like those Ventusi? How was the tire wear? Do you guys have the Falken Azenis RT-615? I have a Milano with 16X7.5 ET37 wheels. Do you suppose I could fit 225-45-16 tires on there? The Ventus is available in that size, but the Falkens are not -- 215-45-...

Nice. Tell us how it works out!

Are the holes in the bar for adjustability or for saving weight?

Hey, I'm not following what you mean by having the 2.25 inch spring inside the stock one? I can see why you would want to have the spring as far out as possible (shoulda been done from the factory?) but for a stock location, what can I do about where the spring meets the chassis? Would I remove the ...

I want to use 2.25" springs, but what did you have to do to locate the top of the spring on the chassis? I'm assuming you removed the stop spring rubber locator? There's no way to use 2.25" springs and still allow use of the stock springs if I need to go back right :( Ron's springs go from...

Micke, What is your suspension setup again? I don't think my rear end is quite as soft as you make it sound, I do have a 26mm rear sway bar back there on nearly the stiffest setting.... Also, I need to do some more reading, but how can a higher roll center create more roll? Wouldn't that give the CG...

That's an awesome site, and I like your project ideas.

What front suspension were you running when you were at the track with the GTV 2.0?

So sand balsting wasn't worth the time? I was thinking of doing it to my car now that the transmission is out (seriously rusty!)

My car doesn't roll that much. I'll try to get a pic from the front, but I was at the track a month ago and I saw some pictures from a professional photographer. Under full cornering load, it rolled about as much as a base model Boxster or something? It wasn't bad. But even then, my camber was notic...

Hmm, stiffen the front end, stiffen the rear end. Two contradicting suggestions. Unless Mats knows somethign we're missing, historically, increasing the rear wheel rates has given me a car that wants to understeer less.

GTV27, or anyone for that matter, where can I buy stiffer rear springs?

Besides going to coilovers, I don't know how else I'm going to get more spring rates up there. I don't know of anyone that sells anything larger than a 27mm bar, besides Andy'd full race 33mm. I would like a 28-30mm I think, but access is denied. Besides, the car drives pretty well on backroads, whi...

I'm thinking of getting a few sets from Taiwan, along with a few sets of carellos (if they use those there). AC is long gone. If I can't get the euro bumpers, I might hallow out some USDM ones a la Jes. Some time I want to check out your battery relocation job in detail. I'm really clueless as to wh...

I don't know about your car Zamani, but mine's an understeering pig...it's not fun AND it's slow. My car's so slow around the track, I haven't really had to worry about brakes  Before I had drop spindles, my car would lose camber when cornering hard...so -1 degree negative would turn into like ...

Huh? Whaaa? What about you tube?

Do you know anywhere to get cheap-ish 29-30mm torsion bars?

No need; Potenziato from the alfabb was kind enough to copy a page from a shankle catalog as well as swap spindles with me (he has RSR coilovers and wanted to get rid of his drop spindles, b/c they put the coilovers out of their range of adjustment). So after many hours under the car, and with a 9 f...
