Echoleader, Look at the spring rates Ron has on his website, then convert those to lbs/inch.. I think you'll find that his spring rates are quite high, compared to anything short of 33mm bars we can buy in the states. A member of the alfabb was telling me on the phone today that with his stiff (out ...

It's quite possible (cause of the understeer that is, I'm pretty sure I have 6 cylinders down under). So....would it be as simple as mounting the battery in the trunk and ditching the AC or something to get rid of the understeer? The differnece between the two engines is 75-100lbs right? I guess the...

Echo, The RSR doesn't have anysprings that are softer than 27.3 mm torsion bars (for a Milano's long bars atleast). What I'm saying is that you use stock torsion bars until the helper springs have been compressed ... so the ride is quite nice on small bumps. The rear springs are linear however, with...

I'm dead serious about the VR6 engine though. Those things are quite sweet! I just wish there was a chassis to use the engine with... Rotaries are pretty sweet. A 3 rotor sounds better, but a 2 rotor soudns cooler I think. I've had a few FC's. Sold all of them after various coolant or apex seals fai...

A couple of questions first.. What is the suspension set up you are running now? Did you know that the ride of an RSR can be softer in the front than a car with 27.3mm torsion bars? The rear is a different story though.. Using a 30mm bar would depend on what other modifications you plan to do in the...

Yeah, a lot of people have been telling me to just do RSR. And with about 1.2K invested so far, maybe I should have. One definite benefit the RSR has over my method is crisp turn-in that only stiff wheel rates can give you! And by that I mean, an immediacy in response to whatever steering inputs the...

Echo Leader, I'm really trying to get the 2nd solution to work out for me. I'm from the BB and I have 28mm front, 26mm Rear sway bars (RSR) and 27.3 AR T-bars and 154lb/inch springs. The car rolls more than it should, and understeers like hell. This weekend I should be installing drop spindles. I am...
