I have Ron Simons rod ends and they have dirt all over them already. I'm worried about accelerated wear. Should I have any kind of grease on them to keep them tolerance free?
Thanks

Camber thrust as in, an angled wheel wants to turn in the direction it is leaning in...like how a bicycle will make a smaller radius turn if it is leaning into the turn versus just turning the front wheel and guiding the bicycle around the turn (hard to explain, but I think you might figure out what...

Street/Track alignment spec.
Hello. My car understeers too much, what can I do about it? I have a Milano Verde (3.0 America I guess?) with: 27mm Torsion bars and about ~160 lb/in springs (they're the Shankle SS jobbies). The shocks are Koni Yellows (don't like them too much) RSR 28mm front and 26mm adjustable rear RSR sway bars...

This may seem obvious, but use the lube that comes with the bushings. It makes a big difference. Instead of using large sockets, we took the center pivot to our vise-on-a-bench. With a little bit of pressure from the vise, we then pushed the edges of the bushing inside the housing with a flat screw ...

Graham, I talked to my machinest about this when I had my 2.5 liter heads milled. He took a look at the amount of clearance between the head mating surface and the valve seat and he advised against taking off more material than I have to. That being said, I wouldn't get too agressive with the materi...

Lightening rear flywheel
I'm going to have an LSD 4.1 transmission apart (milano) for rebuilding. I want to take some metal off of the rear flywheel while I have it apart. A 3.0 clutch and pressure plate will be going back into the unit. Is re-balancing the rear flywheel costly? Will I notice much difference from taking som...
