UPDATE: I can now for SURE confirm that the Alfa 3.0 V6 with Jetronic setup has rev-limiter in BOTH ignition box and fuel ECU. I got my ECU modified a couple of days ago (as described in another thread) and it moved the fuel limiter but still the igniton box cuts the spark @ 6300 rpm (app) so I got ...

The wiring is from a 3.0 75/Milano

I have the same looking boxes (different number though) as the one in top left and bottom so a 2.5 ign. box won't fit my wiring I see... :(

But thanx for all your help :)

Aha... So what you are basically telling me is that an adjustable FPR is a waste of money?? That is ofcourse, if the original can deliever enough fuel..? I have a 2.5 fuel ecu (0 280 001 117) so what I really need to get hold on is an ignition box also from a 2.5 if I wan't NO rev liniter..? The way...

I don't think raising your fuel pressure by even a few lbs will increase injector flow significantly. You either need bigger injectors running at standard duty cycle or change fuel computer. To avoid any misunderstandings: (maybe my choice of words is just bad - sorry  ) Engine/car is current...

there are 2 rev limiters in the stock 3l Jetronic with Cat.... checked it with bosch.... The one in the Fuel ECU is set at 6250rpm und the one in the Sparkcomputer ist set at 6700rpm. I control my car with megasquirt and I allways hit the rev limiter at 6700 because I was driving with the original ...

Adjustable Fuel pressure regulator

Hi :)

I'm looking for a Adjustable Fuel pressure regulator for my GTV6 3.0

I would prefer one that fits were the original one is placed (right beneath the front of the intake manifold) rather than to use hoses to extend the fuel line.

Where can I buy one? Any suggestions?

Hmm... I'm honestly a bit confused now :?

Don't get me wrong - I really do appreciate everybody's input on this subject but I don't know what to believe (or do) right now... hmm...

BTW, the number on my Ignition box says: 0 227 921 036

Hi Nimbus :D Thx for the very helpful info. I think I'll try to find this one first and see how it works: " 0 227 921 035 - catalyser, rev limit 6500 " (Cheapest solution  ) And if I'm not satisfied I'll go for the MegaSquirt in the end. Seems almost as much trouble to modify the Jet...

Well, is the Motronic from a V6? do you have the pulleys with the motoronic toothed ring? Pickup and so on and so forth. Then you need someone that can actually hack into the Motronic to remap it. Megasquirt is probably a lot easier, loads of info right here on the site. Yes, it's from a V6 - but I...

"Reprogramming an L-Jet ECU will be quite difficult because it does not have a chip, it's analog." Thanx guys! :D That was REALLY helpful :) I knew the guru's were hiding somewhere in here  Yesterday I actually picked up a whole stack of 75/Milano 3.0 America parts and between it al...

3,0 V6 Jetronic w/ seperate ignition box

Hi :D I'm having a tune up (ECU re-programming) done on my GTV6 3L. on a rolling-road-bench in a couple of weeks. I'm currently running on stock Bosch Jetronic ECU (0 280 001 134) and it has a seperate black ignition box besides it. When I'm having the ECU re-prog. I wan't the rev-limiter moved up a...
