Re: Book - The Art of Racing In The Rain
I've read this too - is sad if you have lost a loved one, but a very good read (which is uncommon for books featuring racing).

Re: GTV6 Compliance in Brisbane
Do you need an engineer's certificate or is it just a normal roadworthy. If the latter, John French Motors at Wooloongabba could do that. I get most of my mechanical work done there.

Re: Race Tyres - what's so hot right now?
Only left. All others outside. I know thats very sad . But wearing more on braking. Probably from aaaaalmost lifting the inside front and having it pointing more inward then the direction you're traveling. bugger! beaten to it by Mats - my thought also was unloading an inside front on roll and brak...

Re: Race Tyres - what's so hot right now?
595rsr is apparently a sticky street tyre rather than a proper r- spec race tyre, but have not driven or or even seen them at a race meeting (maybe that says enough!) as to prices here, shrug, that's what they cost? am at the track next weekend and am going to pay close attention to what the quick c...

Re: Race Tyres - what's so hot right now?
Have to say there's not been too much love for the r888 in other feedback so far. silverstone chunking is correlated in other feedback (for softs and maybe mediums - i'd be going mediums, but would worry about the fronts getting knocked about...) favouring dunlop, bridgestone and advan so far (maybe...

Re: A very difficult Target!!!
good luck in your search - have seen pictures of that car - try a google image search maybe?
wasn't group B dead by then - sure it wasn't group A (or was it some italy specific series?)
anyway, great looking car and hope you can track it down!

Re: No longer a ''budget" race GTV
If it doesn't rain much but you want to prepare for racing in the rain - find some skinny old hard road tyres and try to do some fast laps on them (ie not just larking around sliding the car for the hell of it - which is of course lots of fun - but try to carry as much speed as possible in a grip co...
