Re: My rebuild!
The other option is to remove the skirt all together- it will really accentuate the bumpers- you'll need to have the holes filled- my mate had this with the black trim piece along the doors on 17s and it looked great- Garth, how are your 18s? What size and et are they, and what rubber do you run? Do...

Re: My rebuild!
Your side skirt is off the gp kit.... I can't mate- I bought a full original kit from a guy who lived in Geelong (drove from Sydney, there and back in a night!).... I don't really wanna make a mould now they're on the car....
I may be able to help you with GP kit stuff....

Re: My rebuild!
Thanks Joe, thanks Z-
Garth. It's all Zender (it will have the full kit minus wing on it). Have you got alfpa bumpers on yours?
I think it's the camera angle Z- but I'll check it out when I get a wheel alignment soon.

Re: My rebuild!
I'm pretty sure you're gonna beat me to it Ben! I'd love to be driving it in Nov. Drive it for a few months and see what breaks, before doing some trackdays early next year. I'll have it home this weekend....! Anyone ever rebuilt GTA Brembos? I wanna clean and paint mine or maybe get them powder coa...

Re: My rebuild!
Hahaha that's a funny point Garth! As Kevin said, they're all a bit too orangey for me- it was a hard call to pick a colour, and the painter and I spent about a day looking at different spots of red on the actual car before deciding! The last minute call to go black on the trim was related to the re...

Re: My rebuild!

Re: My rebuild!
Painted.... kit to go on.... bonnet still to be sorted....still to buy seals....still to swap to my 5 bolt hubs and put the 156 Superturismo rims on with the RS Coilovers and watts link, before figuring out new discs for the GTA Brembos. Once it's driving I'll start looking to wire up the E11v2. Col...

Re: My rebuild!
Kevin, I'd go so far as to say that it's a certainty I will put a blower on it (I appreciate the pressure!!!!) - but I want to experience the beauty of my little screamer for just a little bit longer- there's something very satisfying about changing gears at 8000  I'll need to begin the lon...

Re: My rebuild!
Greg, whatever happened to the MP62X option on your kits?
Can I still get brackets off you for an MP62, and will a MErcedes one work (Or are the discharge ports too different?)
I'm starting to plan out the next phase, that's all.

Re: My rebuild!
Greg, I'm no longer on the Tripler (sigh.... my first Boeing... waiting on the next one!). In Australia, the Civil Aviation Safety Authority is a bit backward, and allows for a Co-Pilot endorsement on certain types of aircraft (abv 5700kg in Regular Public Transport ops). As opposed to a command (fu...
