A Pillar Trim - Help!
84 GTV-6. Can anyone please tell me how the trim on the A pillar is attached, or should I say how do I reattach it? Pictures would be helpful. I found some metal clips in the car that I suspect are part of this. They are about four inches long and an inch wide with a lip along one edge. I recently h...

Re: I A P 84 GTV6 ID
So I went to the IAP site and was redirected to Centerline. Centerline purchased them.
I don't know the status, but I did not find what I was looking for.

Interior Lights
My the plastic on my old interior lights failed. I read on here somewhere that VW/Audi used one the that is a touch longer. Requires a bit the cut out to be lengthened a bit. I found some in the Pick & Pull. They too have had the same fate. I found a source for news ones at cip1.com. The quality...

Re: Replace clutch master
U.S. Alfa GTV-6 Clutch Master Cylinder replacement: Tools: 6mm allen wrench, ball end preferred. I was able to get a 3/8 drive socket with about a 7” allen end, from Harbor Freight. Plus a 12” wobble extension, and ratchet. A needle nose pliers is handy for pulling the cotter pin from the yoke at th...

Took another look at it tonight. Now I am off to the store for allen wrench to cut off and a section of rod to weld on.

Re: Replace clutch master
After my post I found some pictures on here from x-rad. The hole in the firewall looks be about the same size as the outline of the housing. Mine seems barely large enough to clear the shafts from the cylinders. I can barely see one of the bolts. Taking the boot of will help immensely. But I could b...

Replace clutch master
'84 GtV-6: I need to replace the clutch master and looked under the dash. Ouch! I am wondering about disconecting the brake peddle also and pulling the housing. I can then work on it under the hood? Or...because the hole on the fire wall is smaller then housing, I could drill holes above the bolts. ...

Re: Car, she no run
I didn't have to wait a week. I was so happy to have it running. I put the fuse box back, cleaned up the car went back in the house with visions of driving it to work the next morning. It would not even fire the next morning. Move everthing to the pick up, off to work. Back home after work, out with...

I put new end at the fuel pump. I break in the wire maybe but wait, there is juntion box. I followed the through the firewall...

Car, she no run
84 GTV/6 I installed a new light/turn signal switch unit. Now the car starts, runs for about 10 seconds, then dies. I am not getting juice to fuel pump. I have juice from 88y to 88d, and the relay clicks when I open flap in the airflow sensor. My wiring diagram shows that the hot wire comes from the...

Re: Under heating
I'm using the proper water/anitfreeze ratio, per spec. I don't know what it is, off the top of my head. However I would have followed the guideline.

When I do, if I trun on the heater the temperature goes back down to the half way mark. I put in a new thermostat from Vicks. It works m...
