Hi all Just picked up my '82 gtv6 2.5 on saturday. Love the car, drove it from the sellers' house in liverpool to london. Anyways, as ever I already have a super-long list of things that need sorting, one of the first things, is that there are no keys for the door locks. So I need to get that sorted...

Naah, its cool... I found one. Very neat for R35k. White, untouched, 100% original, even the original wheels and steering, never dropped, no tears in the seats... done 89000km, even the tappet covers are still the original aluminium colour... never painted.... I'm takin' it... no cracks in dashboard...

Ya no... that interior is the least exciting part... wrong dash, wrong seats, FongKong steering wheel... I dont know if I can afford 50k, but around R35k or so.... Will phone Kevin now now... see what he has.

yeah, from what I can see this car looks a little abused at some stage of its life... the pink tappet covers, chip out the bumper.. etc, what surprised me though is the original condition of the exterior... even original wheels.... but I dont want to drive all the way out to Brakpan and find its a P...

oh ya, and what about it popping out of reverse? Is that a major thing... common problem possibly?
