Re: Front - Rear track width and transition while cornering.
215/50 are on 7' wheels, they were better on 7,5' but i have some clearence issues. On the rear, i have SZ uniball + poliurethane bushings all arround and I'm thinking to switch watts levers to uniballs... I've read some threads about changing RC on the rear but it is not clear to me how they calcul...

Re: Front - Rear track width and transition while cornering.
Softer in the rear will be too soft, Im afraid... I think I should increase rate of front springs since rsr coils come with 125kg/60kg rear.
Cambered dedion is on my wishlist!
Your front track width is stock?

Front - Rear track width and transition while cornering..?
Hi! Need some advice from you track wolves about this topic since I have quite nervous rear end. Do you build your cars within factory proportions (front/rear) or you're changing track width? Current setup on my track car: Front: Coilovers 80kg/cm springs + factory torsion bars, Camber -3, Toe out 1...

Re: steeringpump faillure
Hi! I'm not sure if I understand you, but I'll try to explain: In original restriction for this pump; there are three holes on sides that are connected with main hole which leads to supply line. On new restriction, I made only one smaller diameter hole if compared with factory unit. It would be cool...

Hi! Bad host does wonders... :( I'll snap some pictures of your interest. I've moved main hoop backwards to have more space for legs and maybe in future pedal box - also seat "ears" where close. Note that you will have to cut out seat stands since they are to high. I'm 186 cm tall and I ha...

Re: steeringpump faillure
Good to know, next year for vacation I'll salvage some racks for spare. :D I've finished pump conversion today. PS pump works really nice, no overheating or strange sounds, tried sharp manuvering left- right-left and no problems with oil starvation. Oil in expansion tank is still and without bubbles...

Re: steeringpump faillure
@Jim: No ZF service center here and original steering pumps are pretty rare here too... Personally, I like the idea of small compact pump such as vane type from AR164.

Re: steeringpump faillure
I have found very good article on alfabb related to this issue. I drive 164 pump/75 rack combo too and buried two pumps already. Now I'm planning to modify 164 pump internally to reduce flow since it seems that too much flow is guilty for building high temperatures... If anybody did this mod, please...

Re: Balancing factor 3.2 V6 + solid flywheel 2.5?
Oh yeah, I forgot about that!
I remember balancing jig that was made by someone here... Is it doable in diy or we need to send parts to dedicated shop?
Get Lancia flywheel to zero with jig and aditional weight then transfer 2.5 flywheel to copy it.
Thank you man!!!

Balancing factor 3.2 V6 + solid flywheel 2.5?
How to determine balancing factor required for 3.2 engine? I know that there are diferences between 2.5 and 3.0, but how do guys from SA resolve these differences, while switching to front mounted gearbox? Plan is to use 3.2 engine with 2.5 24v flywheel and 6 speed gearbox. Engine donor is Lancia Th...

Re: Koni yellow or Bilstein - Coil Over Sleeves
Take a look at this thread: alfagtv6.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4265 I converted my Bilsteins to coilovers, did a revalve and they do excellent job. I would recommend to base your setup on Bilstein since it has serius internal design and support for revalve, service support is good too. You...
