Re: Some more brake upgrades for the 116-Barry
Hello everybody, friend and I catch a "big brakes" virus and bought two sets of calipers (him GTA and I 166v6). Does anyone have drawing of adapter brackets for GTA or 166v6 calipers? -It would help to do conversion a lot faster... Thanks in advance. 8) Edit: Some pics... http://i41.tinypi...

Re: injectors/inlet manifolds and ram pipes
What do you think about giving some extra length to plenum pipes and keeping intake runners stock?
Will this improve some hp/torque rate or not? Idea came since there is a lot of room for moving plenum backwards on rwd car...

Re: driveshaft conversion
Well, first I would determine centers of rotation of engine and gearbox and bring them in center with laser tool (with prop shaft taken off). Then, we should measure angularity of engine and transaxle. Transaxle's angle would be a guide for further centering since its level is only changeable in fro...

Re: driveshaft conversion
Aren't donuts designed to be weakest spot after all? How long do you take to brake them if they are not perfectly centered?
Personally I think that the best mod would be carbon fiber prop shaft.

Re: Twin Spark V6?
No. 3 was last solution on TS engine. From year 1996 - 2002. (aprox). After all I'm not sure what TS was meant to improve? To have reliable spark or what? :? Interesting thing is that we have few SP and ST Alfas here (147 and 156), which came from italian championship and all of them use single spar...

Re: Power steering into '87 GTV6
The PS rack and pump on the 75/90 is one of the best one out there when it comes to feedback and weight. Maybe the 164 pump put too much pressure into the system making it too light? AR164 pump makes smaller pressure comparing to pump from AR75. I can check but as a rough guide; AR164 (V6) makes 10...
