the quick fix is to run a "new" power wire off the battery to a relay...run the power off the relay to the sgi-5 power side...use the old speedo power wire as the trigger wire for the relay..problem solved

that setup did the trick.

I have the SGI-5 and works fine driving but the problem i have is that wenn the car is standing still and let the engine ref up the tacho refs up with the refcounter.
