Both of my sons are 6'6". That may be the max. as one can get comfortable and one can't, and they both have buzz cuts.
Mats, your post made me laugh out loud...plus you're a Bilstein guy!

Anyone Buy Stuff From This Guy?

I sent a USPS money order to this guy on 7/16. He received it on 7/20. Parts are "sitting here ready to ship" since last week. He told me they would go out today, and I would get UPS tracking numbers. Nothing. Jeezus, I hate this kind of stuff!

Thanks Murray- I understand the open loop at idle...I should have clarified things. I meant that this problem has also happened at highway speeds with a warm engine (closed loop). Right now the cold start injector is disconnected. Will check throttle switch in AM. What about fuel line restriction? I...

Could the high duty cycle be ECU response to fuel starvation? Could fuel line restriction cause this? I couldn't work on car today, so I'm trying to hatch a coherent plan for tomorrow.
Thanks,

FUEL DELIVERY ISSUE

I posted this same topic on the BB... A little over a year ago my '85 GTV6 began to die suddenly, as if it had run out of fuel, so I stuck it in the shed with plans to work in it when the weather cooled down a bit. Well, we had a series of setbacks (house fire, some medical issues, etc.) so that I a...

Your thread interests me because I had a similar problem with a Milano that sat for a year, being started and idled only occaisionally. When I finally tried to start it to drive it, the battery was weak and the car flooded big-time as you described. By now, you should have a new distributer cap and ...

Everyone has made some very valid points. There is no doubt that a lot of traffic moved to the BB during the transition, and that is not necessarily a bad thing, as it seems to me that this site has evolved into a much more technical forum. I check in daily, but also find myself using the archives f...

It's about time! I got an Internal Server Error (whatever the hell that is) but I'll keep trying.

Bill-
You do have to remove the headlamp and its frame, as the corner light is attached to the frame by screws from the rear. If you haven't figured it out , I'll remove one of mine this afternoon and post the details as I have a corner lamp to replace also.

Thanks-I suspect it is the e-brake that is the culprit, though the clutch is probably also stuck. Anyway, the local auto parts store (amazingly) has a set of wheel dollies in stock, so all is relatively cool for now.

POST FIRE HELP NEEDED

Guys- I am having front of my garage repaired as it was damaged in the house fire. My GTV6 was in the garage, on blocks, semi-retired for the off season. Here is where the problems arise... I have no tools. My repacement set is a week away. The car has no fuel lines, so it doesn't run. The clutch an...

Thanks guys!
I've moved the car to a safe place now...with a little help from friends, so I'll try the locksmith route first. Things are a bit more under control now.
Thanks again,

IGNITION HELP NEEDED QUICK

My house burned down to the ground yesterday. I lost everything EXCEPT my '85 GTV6. I was put away for winter, but the keys were in the house. I need to move the car ASAP, which leads me to ask how I can release the steering lock so I can tow it. I assume that I'll need to find a new keyed ignition ...
